Job Description Summary

Responsible for coordinating and evaluating incoming transcripts and other records for the awarding of transfer credits; and maintain the transfer course equivalency tables in Colleague and examining various documents i.e. post-secondary documents, non-traditional documents, test scores to advise the transferability of such documents.

Minimum Qualifications
  1. One to two years of college credit (30 credit hours is equivalent to one year) or equivalent formal training in related field.
  2. Combination of education and related experience for a total of four to five years.
  3. Associates degree preferred.

  1. Ability to work well under strict deadlines and tight time constraints; strong proofreading skills and detail orientation.
  2. High comfort level with computer and word processing programs, especially Word and Excel.
  3. Good research skills; strong organizational skills.
  4. Ability to communicate well orally and in writing.
  5. Good customer service skills.
  6. High level of flexibility.
  7. Demonstrated ability to apply policies and regulations to complete work tasks.
  8. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  9. Knowledge of admissions, registration, curriculum and graduation related matters is important.
Job Requirements
  1. Must be available to work Monday – Friday during the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Work schedule subject to change based on the needs of the department.
  2. Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written standard English.
  3. As required by the 1986 Immigration Act, be prepared to present acceptable documentation showing your identity and that you are a U.S. citizen or an alien who is authorized to work.
