Job Description Summary

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Professional Art Models work under the direct supervision of the Art Department Chair and faculty to model for Art studio classes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Pose in Art studio classes for students

Minimum Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Previous modeling experience at an art institution or college.
  2. Recommendation from previous art institution or college worked.
Criteria

CRITERIA: The following criteria, which are not the sole criteria used in the final hiring decision, will be used to review the applications of those persons who meet the stated minimum qualifications and to select those qualified applicants who will be interviewed. Other information and observations made during the interview process may be considered in the selection process.
Resume, cover letter, other documents must address the criteria listed below for this position.

1. Extent of modeling experience.
2. Evidence of flexibility to move from one pose to another quickly and sustain energetic poses for one to five minutes.
3. Evidence of ability to hold extended poses for twenty-five minutes in length without moving.

Job Requirements

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Flexibility to move from one pose to another quickly and sustain energetic poses for 1-5 minutes.

  1. Must be able to work flexible hours including days, evenings and weekends as needed.
  2. Available for three to six hour sessions.
  3. Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written standard English.
  4. Ability to hold extended poses for twenty-five minutes without moving.
  5. As required by the 1986 Immigration Act, be prepared to present acceptable documentation showing your identity and that you are a U.S. citizen or an alien who is authorized to work.
